Art

The Park Güell is the garden with architectural elements. The architect is Antonio Gaudí.


The Park Güell built in 1900 to 1914. In 1984 Unesco included the Park Güell in the World Heritage Site. The park Güell has several colums decorated with ceramic tiles

distinguished by their vaults in the form of hyperbolic paraboloids.





The dragon - the salamander leads to the central square of urbanization, built between 1900 and 1903.




Chamber hypostyle - supports the upper plaza. Built between 1907 and 1909, composed of 86 columns of 6 meters high and 1.20 in diameter.





The square - built between 1907 and 1913, covered with small pieces of pottery and glass.

  1. In my opinion, Antonio Gaudi is a reason why somebody should visit Spain. I am very impressed by his work.
